Mountain Home Lodge

This stay was the highlight of our Leavenworth trip. The beauty and the hospitality were second to none. They have trails around the property, mountain views from luxury cabins, and such a sweet dog who walks with you on your hikes. Brad and Kathy are gracious and humble people. Don't skip out on their breakfasts. If you're looking for peace, beauty, and privacy then this is the place.

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon in 2018 and it was absolutely stunning in late June. The daily happy hour was so much fun on the wrap around porch, each couple gets their own table which overlooks the mountains. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! You can tell the owners take pride in their work and enjoy hosting. I would love to return one day!

Excellent place to stay! We went for a milestone birthday and it was the perfect choice. Wonderful hosts and selicious food. A fantastic view from the cabin and areas to walk around and explore. The property was so quiet at night and the bed comfy, we slept well. The two dogs were also perfect hosts and greeted us upon arrival and each morning.

My girlfriend and I came here for our anniversary. We have had the most amazing time with Kathy and Brad. When we arrived, we had a happy anniversary balloon waiting in our room for us. Their attention to detail is beyond phenomenal. They are more than happy to give you honest recommendations about food, events, stores, etc. in Leavenworth. To be honest, one doesn't even need to leave here to have the best time. Have you ever met someone who is good at their job, but you can tell that they don't care outside of that? Brad and Kathy are so attentive and caring, and you can tell that they actually enjoy taking care of people! It's easily seen in everything they do here at Mountain Home Lodge. The breakfast in the morning is to die for. They use fruits and vegetables from their orchards and gardens, so it's as fresh as can be. The rooms are clean and well maintained. 100/10 would recommend!!!

My husband and I went to Mountain Home Lodge for our wedding anniversary. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The property is serene and brought the much needed quiet away from our kiddos. It is close enough to the town that we could head down to grab whatever we need. The couple who run the lodge are lovely and were very attentive to provide everything we needed. Kathy made delicious breakfast and appetizers each day. Brad was beyond helpful in recommending restaurants and planning our hike to Icicle Gorge. The stars are night are unbelievable. I would absolutely recommend staying at the lodge for a quiet getaway. The service and experience are second to none in Leavenworth.

My husband and I went here for my 30th birthday weekend and we absolutely loved it! It was so peaceful and gorgeous in the fall! The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay to enjoy the beauty of Leavenworth. They think of everything to make your stay comfortable and fun! We will be back!

When we booked mountain home lodges Pounder Rock cabin, we were excited for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of full-time jobs, kids, and pets. What we didn't know was what a special place Kathy and Brad had created for their guests. Our adventure started once we headed up a gravel road. At first, we thought we'd take a wrong turn - but no sooner that thought than a sign on a tree, "Mountain Home Lodge 2.2miles." We knew we were on the right track. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Sierra and Millie, the MHL doggies. Brad came out with Carlos to say hi, ask if we needed anything- and loaded up our things to take to the cabin. Brad made sure we knew how the things worked, turned on the music, and left us to settle in. The cabin was perfect! Chairs in front of the fireplace, fluffy king-sized bed, large jacuzzi tub, rocking chairs and table on the porch, and a comfy couch in the loft to watch a movie. Small details were not missed - light toiletries, kurieg, and coffee. Blankets on every chair inside and out and plenty of towels. Did I mention the water pressure was awesome!? Around 5:30, we headed to the Lodge for appetizers prepared by Kathy- squash soup shots with crustini, cream cheese, strawberries, and a balsamic glaze. The view was amazing while we munched on our goodies. Kathy and Brad are so friendly and full of easy conversation. After appetizers, we headed back to our cabin and played a couple round of chess - the upstairs hutch had a few games for us to play. We fired up the jacuzzi tub and enjoyed a drink while basking in the mountain. Millie and Sierra stopped by to say goodnight, which we loved being dog people. We sat on the porch with them and watched the sky change from light to dark. In the mornings, there is a delightful breakfast offered. Everything was delicious. Kathy and Brad made lovely recommendations for things to do and food to eat. We were considering a hike, and millie and Sierra offered to come along. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for a hike- but we will definitely go with them next time! While we ate breakfast in the lodge, we decided to check out the mountain with the binoculars. I think my husband spent most of his time peering at the mountain with the binoculars at the Lodge and cabin. But like I said, the small touches make this place special. It's definitely a wonderful place to unplug. The quiet, views, and accommodations are amazing. I'm so happy to add Mountian Home Lodge to our not so far- feels like a real vacation getaways.

Wow! What a beautiful hidden gem. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We stayed in the Trout room. It was tastefully decorated and the bed was super comfy. Each night a black bear would come eat from the trees outside our window, we even saw some wild turkeys! Just incredible. It is nestled in the mountains, in a quiet peaceful meadow. There are hikes surrounding the lodge that took us to amazing views. The owners (and their sweet dogs) were incredibly accomodating and kind. They definitely went above and beyond for each of their guests. The food was also to die for. Breakfast out on the deck, in the peace and quiet, and with a STUNNING view. We both agreed we would be coming back. Thank you for such an amazing weekend away!
